The origin of fabrics and their impact on the environment is of the highest importance to us. We work exclusively with natural materials that leave a small footprint and are sustainable. Currently, all of our garments are handcrafted using locally sourced, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified Lithuanian linen.
Linen is one of the most sustainable and resilient fabrics. Made from fibres of the flax plant, it requires few fertilisers or pesticides to grow. Linen demands little to none irrigation since rainfall is usually enough for cultivation. Using linen is in line with our made to last principle as it gets naturally softer and more beautiful with age, not to mention the environmental benefits.
Having control over essential production processes is vital to an ethically operating business. That is why we design, cut and sew dutiers garments in-house. It lets us oversee, measure and improve the environmental impact of our processes. In addition to that, local production reduces required logistics as well as contributes to the surrounding community.
Our sustainability journey is a constant learning process to which we are committed.
