A set of 3.5 mm (US 4) double pointed needles (or magic loop method);
or size to obtain gauge.

Gauge: 23 stitches and 31 rows = 10 x 10cm
(4 x 4 inches) on 4 mm needles in stockinette, blocked.

1 50 g skein (all sizes) of Fingering weight yarn (50 g ~ 200 m) such as Sandnes Garn Tynn Peer Gynt; Sandnes Garn Sunday, Knitting for Olive Merino; DROPS Flora;
held together with
1 25 g skein (all sizes) of Lace weight yarn (25 g ~ 210 m), such as Filcolana Tilia, Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair, Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair, Drops Kid-Silk.

Sample is knit in size Large, in Sandnes Garn Tynn Peer Gynt (col. 1002 off white) and Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair (col. 1012 off white).
