I created this tank pattern as part of a range of basics that can be worn with everything and made in many different colours.

The favourite tank is a simple fitted top with thin straps and a straight neckline. It can be worn both ways (there is no front or back, you can choose which neckline you like best). It has two length variations - length A is cropped, and length B is a classic top-hip length (the tops pictured are made in length B).

This is a print-it-yourself pattern. You will receive a PDF file for each of four paper sizes - A4, US Letter, A3 and A0. You can print them at home or at your local print shop.

The pattern includes sizes from XXS to 6X. A size conversion chart with exact body measurements is also included.

The pattern comes with step-by-step sewing instructions in plain language with pictures included. If the instructions seem unclear, please don't hesitate to contact me at hello@dutiers.com, and I'll gladly explain further.

1.5 cm (5/8 inch) seam allowance is already included in the pattern.

Please note that basic sewing knowledge is required. Some experience with handling knit fabrics is recommended, but not crucial.

This pattern is available exclusively for home, non-commercial use. It may not be used for commercial sale.

Suggested Fabric:
This pattern is made for fabrics with very high stretch: at least 50% stretch and more.

The light grey tank pictured is made in 95% cotton, 5% elastane 210 gsm rib, and the cocoa top is made in 92% cotton, 8% elastane 300 gsm rib.

Fabric Requirements:
0.7 meters (0.8 yards) of fabric that is 115 cm/45 inches wide or
0.65 meters (0.75 yards) of fabric that is 150 cm/60 inches wide

Note: this top uses my Baby tank top silhouette as a blueprint, but I made it longer and adapted it to fabrics with higher stretch, such as ribbed fabrics.
