4 mm (US 6) 80 cm (31") circular needles & DPNs, short circular needles or magic loop;
or size to obtain gauge.

Gauge: 18 stitches x 28 rows = 10 x 10cm (4 x 4")
in moss stitch on 5 mm (US 8) needles, blocked.
